Rockford is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rockford follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Excellent service and donuts. I had a coffee and a few donuts to go. The one I tried was excellent. The coffee was good too. Friendly attendant and reasonable price #recommended #bechego

Spent $16 on a dozen doughnuts. They were all stale. Should have known when I went there and all the shelves were not full and did not have a very big choice to choose from. Was totally embarrassed bringing to my coworkers!!

Came in for the first time to get some doughnuts. Asked the lady working how much a dozen was she said $13.99, we asked if that included the twists and she said yes 6 doughnut 6 twists for $13.99. Tell me why when we checked out the one lady helping us rang it up at $13.99 and then the other lady spoke in Spanish and told her a different price. Needless to say we were charged over $20 and the doughnuts tasted like trash. Do not recommend!

Every time I travel and I feel unique donut shop I always stop and buy it a couple of my favorite donuts and see how this place among some of my favorites around the country. Without a doubt, Doughboy Donuts are the worst I've ever had! Everything tasted stale. The yummy donut and the glazed donut tasted like they were left out for 3 days. The Bavarian cream, but I'm going to call it Barbarian cream the way it looked. The chocolate on top was all crystallized and it look like a second grader made it! It was not good! Again be worst Donuts I've ever had.

We love their cake donuts! They have a variety of flavors & we've liked everyone we've tried. We like them so much that my daughter had a donut board at her graduation party! The sprinkle ones lost a little frosting or broke sometimes when we slipped them on the pegs, but the old fashions, double chocolate & blueberry worked great! Also, if you go around 2:00 or 3:00 to the 11th St location, it's full of retirees having coffee & donuts, so you know it has to be good! 🙂 Update: June, 2026. My son got married down near Champaign & he & his bride requested Doughboy Donuts in lieu of wedding cake. I worked directly with Dee to place a large order of donuts & donut holes. She was attentive to details & good to work with. The order was ready & waiting the morning of the wedding & made for a beautiful display. Everyone asked where we got the donuts!
